BVPA Social & 1 Hr CEU Event: Sex Therapy 101

Please join us for BVPA's next Social Event!  Dr. Celeste A. Riley, Licensed Psychologist and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, will be providing a primer on Sex Therapy.  During this 1 hour professional development opportunity, Dr. Riley will go over common questions about sex therapy, including what it entails, requirements for certification, and when to refer.  

The social will begin at 6:15; Dr. Riley's workshop will start at 6:30 PM.

Sex Therapy 101-  Workshop Objectives:

• Describe the scope and limits of sex therapy
• Incorporate sex positive approaches in your practice
• Utilize a model for brief interventions around sexual concerns
• Identify scenarios in which ethical consultation or referral would be appropriate
• Identify resources for additional training and certification
