BVPA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN 35-2829024). Our all-volunteer board consists of mental health professionals and graduate students. Additionally, our volunteer support team is made up of graduate and undergraduate students from various disciplines. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law and directly support the ongoing operation of our organization. Your support enables us to further our mission, which includes promoting psychology, advocating for regional mental health, and fostering professional development for both our members and the broader community.

2026 IRS Charitable Donation Tax Deduction Available for Non-Itemizers
Beginning in 2026, cash donations to the Brazos Valley Psychological Association, an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization, will be tax deductible without itemizing—up to $1,000 for single filers or $2,000 for joint filers. 2025 donations are deductible for donors who itemize their tax return, to the extent provided by law.
