Workshop description: TPA’s Psychopharmacology Division announces an opportunity to increase understanding of the training of prescribing psychologists and the benefits! Participants will gain knowledge and have the opportunity to ask questions.
Even if you have no interest in pursuing psychopharmacology training yourself, our hope is that you are curious about this possibility for our profession in Texas. In this workshop, psychologists will become more informed about the facts regarding prescribing psychologists, why we have a need for it in Texas, why it’s good for our profession, and increase knowledge about prescribing psychologists' training and the work they do.
