About our Speaker
Jeffrey Zimmerman, PhD, ABPP, is a clinical psychologist with 40 years of professional experience. Dr. Zimmerman has been in private practice his entire career, having began as a solo practitioner. As his practice grew, he became founding and managing partner in a group that expanded to 7 offices and 20 professional staff. Dr. Zimmerman is past president of APA's Division 29, Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy, and has served on the Board of Division 42, Independent Practice. He has co-authored or edited four books on practice (If you Build it They Will Come, The Handbook of Private Practice, The Ethics of Private Practice, and Financial Management for your Mental Health Practice).
